Well I've run into a rude surprise. I'm on the third (I believe) mission where we're at Guadalcanal. Ya cant get off the deck with the specific loadout. The main problem is the short carrier . . . . . . but thats probably another issue.

The SBD's are loaded with 3 500's and 50% fuel. The AI cant even lift off . . . .

This needs to be looked at. It makes me wonder about the next missions too. Are they going to have similar problems?

well.....
to be honest, I think the patches to the game from 1c are more the reason then BANZAI, think it was 303/304 that screwed up the Carrier takes offs (you using 401 ?, thought that was suppost to have tried to fix the problum)

other then that, you could try starting the missions in the air ((I know, but it does get you and the AI into the air)

and, other then that, not sure how that can be fixed, other then more patches from 1c, or maybe if BANZAI can change the missions to only use long CVs ?

The long CV's is one possible fix. I was just reluctant to start throwing out ideas hoping that the game designer would respond with something. I sure hope the designers visit this forum.

not really sure if they do or not, they may be watching and reading and not posting, or post under a different name

or, wait a minute, I think I am the only one who posts here, dang, and I don't work for none of them

:):):):):)

hey, did you get the carrier patch for Banzai, not sure if this is the hassle or the fix to it, but it maybe ????

allo Folks!

For those who have Problems with starting on static carriers we made this patch.

1. Open Zip File with doubble click
2. Move the complete missions folder into your Pacific Fighters Directory

Thats it
