Howdy everyone! I recently purchased a copy of Witp from your online store, with both the download and the cd.With my crummy dial-up connection it took about 16 hours to download the game, but of course when I tried to install it, there was a corrupted file so nothin' happenning there.I decided to wait for the cd,which came two days later.(Outstanding service, by the way).
So, I put the cd in the drive, with the auto-start on, but no, nothing happens.I went to the drive manually and clicked on the icon, and my computer locked up tight. I had to shut off power button and then start the computer up again.
So i came here to the forums and found out that I need to shut off my virus protection. Ok. Did that and went back to the install icon and this time the setup started! I figured I was Home free, but no. I entered the serial # when prompted, but it said that the # was invalid. I checked the number against the one in my e-mail Verification and they matched.
What am I doing wrong? I assume that it is looking for the entire 20 characters
, including the huge amount of zeros and the "1" at the end?
Please help me. I can't believe that I spent amost $90.00 to get a game and have it delivered, and then can't figure how to install it!

Thanks in advance,

Redd.

20 characters?

I thought it was 16... (and don't post your serial here...)

did you copy and paste from the email directly into the serial number area making sure there were no spaces before or after?

Yes, the serial # on the cd as well as the confirmation e-mail consists of the first 9 numbers that match the order #,followed by ten zeros and a one.Perhaps I should try using the first 16 numbers only? By the way, I entered the numbers manually, I did not cut and paste.

The number you want is like this:

####-####-####-####

It is not the order number.

If you have a problem, you can look it up at http://findmyorder.com

Thank you, Mr. Frag! I must have missed some instructions regarding that number. I assumed that it would be on a sticker inside the case, as I have seen with other games in the past. The game installed properly, and I am off to read the manual. From the looks of it I should be back in about a week or so .Thank you again for that very prompt reply. Have a great weekend! Redd.
