I've reviewed the manual multiple times on the subject of production, where it states that for ship construction, the Japanese player has the option to change the production rate for individual ships.

Yet I'm unable to find where to go to be able to do this. I presumed that going to an individual base and clicking on its shipyards buttons (naval or merchant) would then pop up the option, but I can't find it there (just options on shipyard expansion or halting/restarting production at that shipyard). The game version is 1.6.

Guidance would be appreciated here.

Intelligence screen -> ship availability. Each ship has build rate (normal, accelerated, halted).

Not having looked in the manual portion covering the intelligence screen shows that I'm still a noob at this game, so your reply saved me a good bit of time.
