Demi-Guard Cavalry

I have had a few cavalry units (Light, Irregular, etc.) pass the magical threshold of 8.0 morale whereupon they become Demi-Guard Cavalry. Obviously a cavalry unit with morale rating of 9.5 (Fanatical) is going to have a major effect on its abilities in combat, but does it have any effect on other units near by?

PS. I have never had artillery reach this level, but I guess the same question would apply.
