Although it's most likely not CHS problem at all, I suspect support forum will blame it on CHS. Picture is better than 1000 words. My 3 FAA groups orginising for 5th month (3 months overdue).

Any suggestions? I moved them from 2 damaged CVs and after some brutal fighting had withdrawn them (couldn't disband).

Those squadrons won't arrive until they fill out to the Max A/C. If you open the oldest ones you will probably see that they have some number a/c assigned to them that is less than the maximum. They are absorbing the Fulmar/Albacore arrivals, which is why you have none in the pool. You will continue to have none until these units have filled out and returned to the map. Just give it some more time, shouldn't take too long, say a month for the Albacores from the time when they should have arrived, 3 weeks for the first Fulmar unit and then 3 more for the second.

Thanks for reply. I have, as you can see, 124 Fulmars and 43 Albacores in the pool. There is only 1 FAA Albacore group on the map with 7 planes. No fulmar groups (upgraded to Martlets and Seafires). Or i'm missing something from your post?

Edit: I've checked the actual airgroups. All three are independent (those dashes near the name), with 0 a/c and some pilots. May be the problem is the command? all others have SEA command.

Could it also be that they are supposed to be on a CV & the CV isn't on map or is it or they have to be on the CV? I've only seen this as the IJN player due to not having enough a/c in the pool but never have seen it on the Allied side even though I've mostly played that side.

I kept CV with 32 sys damage in the same port for a week, then moved it to the Middle East base (1 hex to the west).

I had a couple of Harricane IIb groups scheduled for arrival and no a/cs in the pool. They filled out with Lysanders (previous a/c in the upgrade path) and appeared no problem. It's something else at work here, most likely with CV groups gamecode.

Sorry, with no column headings and no game in front of me I was thinking it was showing that you had 0 in the pools and had used 124 and 43....

Nice Takao picture. I just loaned the book from Library with all the drawings and design info. Very cool ship.

Don't trust it. I've had a squadron of Swordfish reorganizing for 8 months now.
I've written that squadron off. Another bug that won't get fixed.

I just posted this request on the support forum. Will be a good lesson not to screw around with CV squadrons.

Not one AG was transfered or moved off of their CV.
What do you think about that? They changed HQ's all on their own.

And the floatplanes? Every single squadron too? All West Coast HQ now.
Think I swapped every floatplane squadron on every BB, CA, and CL?
Why would I do that? What would be the purpose?
They all changed on their own volition.
