Link: Mount & Blade is a roll playing game in a medival setting. Some of you old Grognards might still remember those times
Currently in Beta-phase, the whole release is a mere 35MB small and let's you play your character to level 6 (with as many characters as you wish). For 12EUR/$ you can get a serial key and continue.
It offers such standard RPG features as character management, group management, NPC interaction and trade, no magic or similar stuff, but it's most fun part is certainly the battles. Nothing like a good cavalry charge under your command: (click thumbs for bigger image)


It is quite fun and can become addictive, so you better don't tell your AAR partners

Now who are you, Sir Lancelot or Don Quichote?
