This game has been a rock for me for the past year. However, when I try to run slot 1 (Combat Save) I get a CTD during the replay.

This has happened during my AI game and during the PBEM game I just started.

I'd also like to point out that I never get any results when I do a search on the site. Do I have to use boolean terms ("and" "or" and "not")?

BTW I am cros posting b/c I'm hoping someone has an answer fast - I only have a few alloted hours to get a turn off!

The search feature on the forum doesn't really work anymore; the place is just too damn big! Some people have reported results by narrowing the time frame in which they search.

I have had the same problem with combat save. It turned out to be PT boats - if they were involved in any combats, the game crashed when it got to their combat resolution.

I have not checked to see if the new patches actually fixed this - we have just gotten used to keeping PTs out of harm's way.

It does not realy hurt the game to lose their use,m so go park them and see if the CTDs go away..

Bump.

Still having the CTD issue. It's improved a bit - the combat report was generated the last time around, but it still crashed once the combat replay was finished.
