I just picked up Medieval Total War with the expansion, Viking Invasion from the local EB Games bargain bin.

Quite a find, it's actually a great game.

Definately satisfies the "inner megalomaniac."

Yes, I have that, too. Love it. BTW, there's a great mod for MTW called "MTW XL" (new provinces, factions, units etc), written by a guy who calls himself Viking Horde. I highly recommend it. You can read more about it here: http://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=31201

Also, the MTW Battle Collection (MTW plus the Viking Expansion) can be found at some retailers for only $20. I got it for Christmas last year.

I love the way (most) everyone here shares the same interests in software.
History buffs should definately check it out.
