Another question I found after sorting out the counters for le manior that I hope to try solo thursday.

The US have 2 types of heroes. Can you pick and chose which one to us in a scenario? I didn't find anything specific in the hero section in the rulebook.

Pirke.

My interpretation: you can choose freely.
Keep in mind that the number of hero counters is relevant in play terms: you can never have more heroes in play than the number of available counters.
PS: I discovered playing Forgotten Heroes that this game system is very "robust", you can make some assumptions or house rules without really unbalancing the game.

Yes, it is, Luca. Actually, the 1-6-6 Heroes were intended for use with the glider troops. That said, you could also but the four heroes for the specific division in a cup and randomely choose. Just remember, no more than two heroes per side on the board.

Best,
Mark

Mark, I can't find this rule on the manual...

It isn't LUca. I do think that somewhere in there it says that you can have no more heroes than the counter mix allows. Since there are**actually** only two "para" heroes and two "glider" heroes, I say that you can have no more than two. K?

Best,

Mark

CPTWASP,
Are you sure it is not in the book? Having played FH I haven't read much of the new rules other than look at Arty and Armor rules. Maybe it was in the 1st version of the rules or the FAQ section of ANZAC? I'd swear I read it somewhere though.

Hey Mark-

This is just a nit-picky little thing, but I noticed that the two 101st heroes use the same art (the guy walking looking over his shoulder), while the two 82nd heroes use two altogether different graphics. Though it's not all that important, when you have more than one hero on the board it helps that they look different to highlight any special characteristics. It strikes me as odd that the 82nd has two different graphics and the 101st has two of the same.

So I was thinking. It would be really neat if you guys provided a pdf download of additional hero and leader counters. Not too many, just a half dozen of each. The heroes would all have different graphics, as would the leaders, but perhaps the leaders would have some variations on their ratings.

Just a thought.
