Playing CHS 1.02 and the Atlanta class cruiser have an asw rating of 8 . They have both the mk.6 and mk.7 depth charge. This is also present in the 10/42 upgrade, but not in the 4/44 upgrade.

Hey, it's not like cruisers didn't carry DC's. The IJN Kitikami and Oi were modified to carry DC's during the war.

The Atlanta Class cruisers were originally completed with two depth charge racks aft and six throwers were added by about (or slightly after) the start of the war. The throwers were ordered removed in 1943 and the racks in 1944, all to save weight for increased light AA.

Cool, didn't know that. Great AA, ASuW and ASW, you can't ask for more.

Hey Moquia,

Is that a SBD in your sig? If so, then I don't think it fits with the quote. SBD's weren't at Wake in 12/41. Only 12 or so F4F's.

Anyway, I could be wrong on both counts.

It is a SBD over Wake Island, only its '43 on a milkrun mission. Here is the full picture:

The Aganos came with DCs as well. (and they do so in the original database)
