Playing Eagles campaign and 8.4 scenario:
506 Regiment, Douvre River Bridges.

BTW, there are no bridges in the scenario...
Location says Culoville, turns 10, all R-FORCE comes on T50 (yes 50) so never comes.
So, I'm throwing stones agains the Somua S-35.
Scenario says (lower left) N17-A1-S26, desgn WBW

Any idea?

You got dropped either in the wrong place and your force is scattered, or you dropped on target and your force is scattered. Either way you have to try to figure out what to do next. I am not sure about your orders but obviously you are experiencin the confusion built into this MC.

In the event, Colonel Sink's HQ landed exactly on target but had no idea where his forces were and eventually decided to use his only available 1st Battalion (50 men) to try to open causeway 1 near Pouppeville.

It was 3rd Battalion that marched on the bridges over the Douve from DZ D.

note: in a MC, the core force is always included in the scenario but in order to build smaller battles, some of the core must be removed from the purchase list. The method chosen for this is to assign the unwanted units to reinforcement and apply an impossible turn arrival time - eg turn 50.

Throwing rocks was something those same paratroopers had to use in the real thing. I guess what I am saying is that improvisation in crisis is what makes a paratrooper. Close assault is one of the few ways you have to dispense with them, my friend.
