In four days Zeta moves 200,000 men off of Tientsin beach and puts them in Luda.

The subs are all stuck at one day even though there is over 5,000 naval production points stored up.

Did you ever accelerate them? If so, at what point if at all did you cease the acceleration?

Yes. I turned off acceleration at different points for the subs. Some just under 10 days and others closer to 1 day for example.

Over 600,000 Japanese (assualt strength 11,671) are now at Luda facing 140,000 Allies. Given the Allies have just shifted across the Yellow Sea from Tienstin and fought a major battle, they are probably not in the best shape. I hope Luda can be retaken with an immediate shock attack before fortifications can be built up.

Anshan is in danger of falling as units have been shifted to Luda. There are about 200,000 Allies vs. 80,000 Japanese here. Fortifications have been reduced to level 5. If the Allied force at Luda can be neutralized, Anshan can then get some reinforcements.

Fushan has 300,000 Allies vs. 110,000 Japanese but is still holding strong with level 9 fortifications.

Wow. I'm as surprised as you.

I thought for sure you'd cause a mass surrender. (one of my peeves about allied troops vs Japanese troops) I'm guessing that number of vehicles on the allied side is what made the difference. If he had one or two tank divisions, they'd be quite powerful. They don't tend to get disablements like troops do, either. The other thing that could be happening is that his troops may be at 90 or more exp from fighting so much and your manchuria troops may be a lot less (I'm assuming most of them have just started fighting a lot).

I think the defender gets twice the strength due to urban terrain plus air and sea attacks have disrupted many of the Japanese ground units. Plus my prep points are all pretty low.

Ouch.. it's urban? .. No surprise then. Urban terrain grants a 4x bonus for the defender

4X? I had thought it was only 2X. Do you know if this applies to a defender when it doesn't control the hex?

Note to self: halt production of all Ha-class Jap subs as soon as they are eligible to be halted.

EDIT: I noticed that the Ha-206 is missing from the picture, did that sub get produced and appear normally?

No, the Ha-206 isn't included in the OOB. It's not a big deal as far as bugs go, but I wanted to see how much the Type 22 radar improved sub performance.

I have (had) a China only game with Dude (he was clobbering me). He sent me a note that he needed a WitP hiatus. His last login date to the boards was Oct. 8.

So it might be a little while longer yet.

Just FYI.
