What do you think, should events concerning minors be displayed on map with "floating" text, like with Major Powers, like:

- When minor surrenders to Major
- When major forms a protectorate with minor

Also, when Major declares war to you after an ultimatum (and your invasion of minor), when you dismiss their warning, there should be clearer message stating the war-declaration, in my understanding this war-declaration is not completely automatic?

Forced surrender, and territory losses/other clauses for it should also be in turn summary / etc., so you wouldn't have to go to treaties screen to see what you've lost, example:

"Sweden surrenders to Russia. Malmö, Helsingborg ceded to Russia"

I know parts of these messages are in the turn summary, but they are too easy to miss now.

Just my two cents.

cheers,

Hp

If you have diplomats adjacent to minors, you get more info...like who is subsidizing for how much.

I wouldn't mind knowing if parking my troops too close to an enemy state actually caused a casus belli before I find them (the enemy) in my capital city. Seems like a pretty flimsy reason to go to war, but it happens all of the time.

Same thing with violating territory or issuing ultimatum after picking up a protectorate. I'm forever going to my diplomacy screen checking country relationships.

Shorn of the benefit of clear statements, I wish you wouldn't have failed to know Britain had incessantly been at war with you during the whole of a 10-year period when France hadn't had a single war with you, as in one of my games where I wasn't aware of this subtle triangular relationship bound by the "your enemy's enemy won't be your enemy" rule till I was bored out of my seat. :p

Don't forget you can use the relationship bar to quickly check nation-nation relationships (TAB key on the main screen toggles it on and off)!

Yep, relationship - bar truly helps in following the big picture. Thanks for the tip.
