so, I set up a new solo player league and decided to make up some players to add to each team.
this surprisingly took a while, since the player database needs to be scanned first, and then updated, for every player created :( (and I can't seem to find a way to 'edit' an existing player).

the problem is that if the newly created player is assigned to a team, they will not show up in the player database, or on the teams roster.
However, they still count towards the roster size, and possibly the salary total also.

there didnt seem to be any mention of this when I searched the forum...
hopefully it will be addressed in the patch (as well as a way to resolve this, so I dont have to recreate everything from scratch again :( )

update:

the players are created, but changes to their name, nickname, and posistions are not saved.

Can you give me the *exact* steps you are going through. I'll see if I can duplicate any issues on my end. Thanks.

Also, as an FYI when you open a player card you can click the "Edit Bio" button to edit existing players.

simple... I just go to 'create new player', make him how I want him, and then give him a contract and assign a team (all in the same screen).
the new player is being created, and placed on the team (I later discovered), but the name change and posistion changes are not.
I can't think of any other variables that may be in effect (perhaps just a bad install?)

(oh, and I found the edit player function a bit later on...thx!)

Fixed it. Thanks! The bug had to do with assigning a new player to a team at the time of creation (e.g. it worked fine if you created him and added him to the FA pool).

This fix will be included in the 1.1 update which should be available soon.
