In two experience differents I had the same problem, when my friend mogami or doobious intent fight a battle in detail, in the middle of the battle the game was shut down. Someone has this same problem. Some Clue of Why? in these case the IA is lost and sounds retreat

Can you give me more information about the situation: what sort of connections were you all on, how many players, how often does this happen in TCP/IP detailed battles, etc. We've played many detailed battles over the LAN, but the engine is sensitive to disruptions in the connection between the computers and will convert one player into an AI-controlled player if the server thinks that the connection to that player is lost.

My friend mogami has the following version, this was the saw in the another side of the screen:
"I don't think my battle crashed in the middle. It was several turns after the Prussians had sounded retreat. It locked up when a Russian unit retreated off the map.
There had been no combat for several turns as it was night and my units were resting and being resupplied. I had one routed unit and when it left the program seemed unable to continue."
Doobious could comment something too. I hope that he read this topic, however I will write to his address about of this crash.
Both player used Widht band, I use notebook Compaq Presario R3000, 128 Mb ram, Window XP.
