I know what everyone is thinking, another one of THOSE posts. But in all seriousness, I did purchase this game back when it was version 1.21. I still have the download for it but I cannot remember what I did with the serial number. I tried looking on the digital river website but I think because of the length of time it has been, they no longer have my information on record. I also tried logging into the Matrix Members Club to see if I had stored the serial number there. I can't seem to get into that area of the webpage for some reason. I am not sure if it is because I never signed up or I just cannot remember the password.

Now after looking through some of my old posts, I remember trying to see if I was allowed to give my copy of WITP to another person. I never got around to doing that. I moved shortly after that post and didn't have the internet for a while afterwords. To be honest, I completely forgot I had this game.

Now after reading some more on the Pacific theatre and playing some old boardgames, my interest is once again peaked.

I would like to try the latest and greatest version of WITP but I don't really want to have to drop another 70 bucks.

Anyone have any ideas on what steps I could take? I am not really expecting too much but I figured it was worth a shot.

Thanks
Ben

Hum, when you bought the game you used a credit card. Just insert the numbers (in fact, just the 4 or 5 last ones, I think) and they will send the serial number to you. I think. Good luck

I cannot find my order on the digital river site. I have the same credit card and I am using the email address I registered with, but it says my order wasn't found. Could it be the length of time that has passed since I bought the game?

I bought the game the second day and it still has mine.

Did you log in to the member's area? There is an option to have all your matrix serial numbers sent to you.

You know, I think I may have used my wife's Visa card to pay for it. If that is the case, I hope we still have the card.

For the members area, I can't log into there. I don't remember if I ever registered the game there or not. I think I did, because after reading some of my old posts, I saw that I recommended registering to someone who was missing his serial number.

Well,

Things are looking pretty grim. The credit card that I bought the game with is no longer activated and I don't have the paper statements for the card anymore. When we moved to Japan, my wife tossed them out thinking that we didn't need them anymore.

So it looks like I am screwed because of my own stupidity. As a last resort, does anyone think that I would be able to email MATRIX directly and maybe get them to somehow look up my order or to issue me a new number? I know that piracy is an issue but I really did purchase the game. I have the file but no number. I seriously doubt that they would and I can't blame anyone else for my forgetfulness but it can't hurt to ask.

AHA!! Another one of you sneaky fellows. Just kidding dude. Someone had to hack on you a bit. Try the seriel retriever thingy in the stickies. Good luck. Don't worry about having to drop another 70 bucks cause you'll be supporting a good cause. I think there's a WitP 2 in the works so your cash is needed.

Also if you still had the game installed there is a serial number retriever program that Matrix made available.
