Well ... I need to do a double install but I've got some problems:

- I had WitP 1.604 in regular install folder
- I created a 'WitpBETA' folder
- I mirrored all the regular folder structure into 'WitpBETA'
- I downloaded the 1.77beta patch
- I launched the patch and told to patch in 'c:\Matrix Games\WitpBETA'

But when I launched old WiTP (from 'c:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific') the front screen said it was 1.77! And when i deleted the old Witp ('c:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific') and tried to launch the other folder game, I've got an error.

So, how I can do properly a double version install on the same machine?

And is there anyone that can provide me a link for 1.604 patch? I can't find it!

Simplest way is to make a copy of the witp folder. Use the patch on the original so the copy is the previous version.

Now, the version number is stored in the registry so only one version number is used for all copies of the games. So both versions will show the new version number, even though the copied folder contains the previous version.
