I'm just trying to do the first turn orders for France 1805, and using a slight variation off the tutorial. That is, I've been trying to move both Grand Armee I&II down to Switzerland, but failing consistently in get getting Grand Armee I down there, after trying tens of times. To be more specific, I have used the starting setup, with the following changes: Detach one Hvy Cav from Reserve Cav Corps Detach one Art from Reserve Art Corps Reserve Cav corps -> Grd A I Attach Imp Guard to IVth Corps Attach Imp Guard to Vth Corps VIth Corps -> Grd A II Reserve Art Corps -> Grd A II Napoleon -> Grd A I Berthier -> Grd A II Distribute all the other generals in Grd A I&II, mostly placed at Corps level In Grd A I, I traded a couple of Cav divisions with a couple of Inf divisions to make the Reseve Ca Corps more of a combined arms corps. Now, as I enter the move orders to Switzerland, the route does show up slightly brownish, so I guess I shouldn't be shocked that the move fails. What is odd however is that Grand Armee I never successfully makes it down there, but Grand Armee II nearly always does (out of my many trials, I think I've seen Grand Armee II fail to arrive once or twice). More surprsingly, if I move Grand Armee I to Burgundy, rather than Switzerland then the movement arrow shows up green as green can be, but the army still fails to arrive nearly all the time (out of my tens of trials, I may have had Grand Armee I make it to Burgundy once or twice). I don't see a lot of differences between Grand Armees I & II although the differences that I can imagine being relevant are: the higher total division count for Grand Armee I the fact that I attached individual divisions to corps in Grd A I (could there be a hidden initiative cost?) the differences in the generals in the respective armies Can anyone out there help me understand why this is happening? If it helps I have save game files that setup this problem. TIA, Thufir Edit: Forgot to mention, I'm playing v 1.2.14
