My heart sank when I could not find the manual and remembering what a difficult game this is to just 'wing it' I packed it in after trying to put together a single 'turn'.
Does anyone know where I can get the manual it is not on the CD.
I would be

Look there...

No, I won't email it to you, but at least you now know there is one...

Well allrighty then - guess that clears this up.

This game is not user friendly without the rules.
I am a 35 year grognard and I can`t figure it out.

If a matrix rep was to make an official request, sure I'd email them...

But generally speaking - HS is right, I don't mail nothing. Which is of course marine for "doesn't mail anything"

My BoB came with a PDF manual but it's in german. Not of much use for non-german speakers but some nice images.

Hello Harley. Thanks again for your great, great editor. I was playing the 43 campaign against the AI and got to spring 44 before I got to look at the Allies, via your editor. I found out that, if you're killing the allies, the replacements come in at 99 experience right out of the chute. There was one B-17 group with three pilots, all at 99, and all with less than five missions. Killed the mood. I had a great time with your work. Thanks again.

Hi Richrd

I think this stems from slightly a different route. That, is when units get knocked down to a few pilots, the routine which is supposed to give an average value for the new pilots, can often give the new guys an Exp of about 99.

...the the average Exp then shoots up, creating some Uber-groups.

Yes, but it will also, counter that by giving you a number of 0 pilots also

so you get 5 pilots with 95-99 Exp, and 10-15 pilots with 0

of course, they go out on another mission, alot of those 0's don't come back

It all changes on 1/1/44, where the replacement XP is fixed +/- 10 points. Each nationality has a different basis point.

Right you always said you knew more about how the replacements worked then the rest of us

if that is the case, this should be easy to fix
