I have two new requests!

This one is based on official plans for using the hull of an Iowa-class BB for carrier conversion. (Length is identical to the Iowa.)

And this is the French heavy cruiser Algérie. (Length is ~600 feet.)

Where did you find this?

Disregard. I followed the link of the drawing.

I would like art for the following Japanese aircraft which may be added in the next release of CHS:

1) M6A1 (a float variation of D4Y2 for use by submarines as a bomber)

2) G8N1 (a 4 engine heavy bomber similar to B-17)

3) Ki-56 (a derivitive of Lockheed 14 or the Japanese LO transport)

4) E16A1 (a float recon plane similar to E13A1)

5) G5N2-L (an unarmed variation of the G5N1 bomber, itself a variation of
the DC-4E airliner).

6) H8K2-L (an unarmed variation of the H8K2 patrol flying boat, this is a transport)

7) Ki-34 (inspired by the DC-2)

8) Ki-102b WITH missile - a variation of the Ki-102a

here ya go with a bonus BF109E (cant find suitable KI-34 yet)

CobraAus,

Thanks.

How do you reduce the image and maintain the quality?

Last night I reduced the G8N. Mine is the same size as yours. But yours looks a lot better.

I’m using PSP. I have access to PhotoShop.

hi mate I use PSP v9
1. take original and clear background to white
2. use wand to select only the art then invert
3. copy result to new image (keep as raster) and resize using weighted average
4. copy result to sky background
5. clean up pic and using white and soft light hi-lite parts of plane to stand out

Wow. How do I get these? Jwilkerson said right click on the download button, but it does not seem to function. I am at

trevethans@aol.com

Sid Trevethan
Anchorage, Alaska USA.

I also need a Ki-76 (which is near enough a Fiessler Storch).

The H8K2-L seems to have guns - but an H8K2-L does NOT have any guns!

This is a tough one: Looking for a Q1W1 Lorna.

She looks like - nothing in the game. Not much else.

Front end is Ju-88 configured nose - and she is twin engined - but the rest of the plane is a lot shorter than a Ju-88, perfectly cylindrical, with a very conventional tail section. Everyone rides in the nose, and two depth charges mount outside, below the crew cabin. There IS a MAD boom - but it is invisible INSIDE the tail section! And there IS a radar - but again you can't really see it - INSIDE the lower crew cabin.

Any chance of some pretty side views for the P-38/F-5 Lightnings and A-20s?? The standard ones are woeful.

I've cleaned up some B-25 and B-26 graphics which can be found at Combined Historical Scenario - Allied Aircraft Art

Has anyone done the F8F Bearcat yet? By March of '46 the American carriers should have had a few squadrons operational. VF-19 was on it's way to the front with them in August when the war ended before they were actually deployed. Not that the Allies need any help in '46, but it would be sort of neat to see them on the roster.

Yes it's in the CHS. The P-38F/F-5 and A-20 also have art in the CHS, both sides and tops.
