It seems that the game engine picks always the best pilots for every mission... So the worst pilots never fly and never gain experience...

I noticed it when I assigned a squadron to ground attacks. I noticed that always took off only 13 of the 15 aircrafts of the squadron (this is another strange thing, because if I do port attack all 15 planes will always take off), and the 2 pilots to stay down were always the 2 most unexperienced... so after some weeks I had a squadron with 13 pilots with an average experience level of 70 and 2 pilots with only 30!

I think this is a bug, anyone else has noticed it?

It's a carry-over from WitP...

This statement is not exactly correct. For "less dangerous" missions (transport, naval search, training) that wouldn't be the case. I guess the biggest exp check is for ground attack.

If I have 15 pilots all with 25 exp. 13 (nothing more nothin less) will fly the first time, and those 13 will fly every ground attack mission in the future... If it has been a port attack all 15 would have flown...
