Ranse -> -altFont Invalid (12/26/2005 10:15:01 PM)

I am using XP and I tried to add the "-altFont" option as specified in the update info by placing in in the shortcut preferences target line ("C:\*\War in the Pacific.exe -altFont"). Windows says that it is an invalid path for the target. The only thing I changed was to add a space and "-altFont" after "***.exe" on the target line. Am I missing something?

You should have something like this "WitP.exe -altFont"

note that the -altFont goes inside fo the quotes

All I did was add " -altFont" to the shortcut target (which has worked well for a long time, even though I can't remember the specific name the exec has) inside the quotation marks, and Windows XP says that it's invalid.

It goes outside the quotation marks.

Here's how it should look (you don't need the deepcolor trigger)

What an evil green colour; another aspect of your disturbed personality...[:D]

And it should be -deepColor, with a capital C.

Thanks for the quick feedback, guys. I'll try it outside the quotation marks next time (thanks, WLockard). And I checked: the file is "War in the Pacific.exe" not "WitP.exe".

I just tried it, and it works. However, I found out I preferred the original.
