|
Not sure when it will be released, but I've sent the stuff to the betas and to Erik to make an installer. Here is the changes. Some Bug fixes, but a lot of it was spent on adding stuff, changing a few names, and rebuilding the AI. Changes: V1.20 – January 19th, 2006 1. Fixed entry date for Battleship Wisconsin in scenario 2. 2. Added following devices for Coast Defense units: 4.7in CD Gun M1909, 3in CD Gun M1902. 3. Increased Rate of Fire of 155mm Howitzer M1918. 4. Adjusted replacement rate of All Infantry squads, MG sections, and Combat Engineer squads. 5. Added Device .50 MG M1921 as an upgrade to the .30 AAMG M1917. 6. Removed Pearl Harbor and Corregidor Forts. 7. Added following forts in the Philippines: Forts Mills, Hughes, Frank, Drum, Wint. 8. Added following forts in the Hawaiian Territory: Forts Kamehameha, Derussy, Ruger, Weaver, and Ford Island Forts. 9. Adjusted following Forts in the United States: Forts MacArthur, Stevens, Worden, Winfield Scott, Rosencrans. 10. Added following forts in the United States: Forts Canby, Baker, Miley, Barry, Flager, Casey. 11. Renamed individual PS Infantry Regiments to 43rd and 62nd. 12. Added the 298th and 299th US Infantry Regiments, Hawaiian National Guard and 159th and 184th US Infantry Regiments, California National Guard. These units start out at battalion strength, with low experience. 13. Tweaked the AI objectives in all campaigns except PBEM scenarios. 14. Created 1st Independent Coastal Artillery Bn, made up of 240mm Howitzers M1918 sent to the Philippines in early 1922. 15. Corrected Spelling of destroyer USS Spriston to USS Sproston. 16. Fixed various Unit-TOE inconsistencies. 17. Adjusted AI in all scenarios to be more aggressive. 18. Fixed Nationality of the 26th and 27th US Infantry Brigades to US Army. 19. Adjusted Range of all US Battleship guns. Many had their ranges as if Coast Artillery pieces, which are about 10,000 yards higher than in at sea use. 20. Fixed a Bug where converting an AK to an AE as Japan would create an AD instead. 21. Lowered number of 75mm Guns M1897 in US Divisions to 48. 22. Renamed all US Tank Battalions, now numbered 300-304. 23. Removed several US Divisions from Clash of Titans, to balance the scenario. 24. Moved up arrival date of 3rd US Marine Brigade in all 1926 campaigns, to better show its historic reactivation prior to being deployed to China. Now arrives in San Diego in January 1927 (historically deployed to Tientsin, China, in April 1927). 25. Removed 10th US NG Regiment (role now filled by historic California NG Regiments). 26. Added 55th US, 608th US, and 92nd PS Coast Artillery Regiments. 27. Lowered most US Coast Artillery Regiments to 24 guns (some have over stockpile of guns, but TOE reflects a normal max of 24). 28. Created upgrade for US Marine Squads in February of 1929. This represents the Marine adoption (following actions in Nicaragua) of the M1928 Thompson sub machine gun. *Note, the Marines officially adopted the weapon in 1930, but unofficially used it since 1927. The US Army would not adopt it as “non essential” until 1932. 29. Renumbered many US Divisions, to have more National Guard units arrive before Organized Reserves. 30. Further Increased the Dud rate for all torpedoes. Most now have a range in the 50s-60s, with no torpedo having less than a 45% dud rate and no more than a 70%. 31. Fixed a bug where the Japanese 61cm Torpedo was set to upgrade to a 53cm version. 32. Adjusted AI so that it will use its navy effectively. Primary theaters for operation are the Philippines and Central Pacific, but also South and Southwest Pacific if the need should arise. New January 22, 2006 updates 33. Renamed US 3in AA Gun M1917 to 3in AA Gun M1918. 34. Added 3in AA Gun M1 as a 1927 upgrade to 3in AA Gun M1918. 35. Added Devices for Railway Artillery Units: 8in Railway Gun M1888, US 4-6-2 Locomotive, Ammunition Rail Cars, Railroad Equipment. 36. Added 41st US Railway Coastal Artillery Regiment to Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. It may be bad form to post these things ahead of time, but it seems to me that since when I release a patch it isn't 3 mini worthless non fixes, I don't need to hide them until I actually do get the patch out [:D] Besides, I've been open all through development, I see no need to stop now.
