I have answered my own query regarding reinforcements!! [8D]
As it is not noted in the Manual or the readme notes, I am listing my findings for any other players who have not found out yet !
On the Scenario selection screen, selecting the extended campaign option
only defaults the campaign to 1805, with an extension date of 5th Dec. 05.
Selecting Sc. 1,2 or 4 and the extended campaign option extends each Sc. to 14th July 09.
Selecting Sc. 5,6 or 7 and the extended campaign extends each Sc. to 5th Dec. 05.
Sc. 3 does not extend.
Hence the 1809 reinforcements do have a use.[:)]
I suspect that most people have found out that [;)]:-
a) failure to select your side as French or Coalition defaults to French.
b) failure to select Fog of War for one or both sides defaults to Minimal
for both sides.
