Mistmatz -> Brilliant japanese leader question (2/6/2006 2:49:25 PM)

I recently discovered two unusual japanese commanders (see screenshot)

B. Minowa
A. Oba

Bot seem to have a low rank considering that they could command a division. Even more interesting is that you get a PP penalty if you remove them from command (-6 PP)!

Does anybody know who those guys are and tell their story?

Gamewise, is it advantageous to give them command over a division with this rather low land skill?

His leadership and inspiration are high, but his "land skill" is only 30 !!
This guy might be trying out for the varsity cheer-leaders.....[X(]

You have a severe leader database problem. That leader should be for an air unit.

Dont make me nervous, I just used CHS 1.06 plain no other database hacking or something... [X(]

Actually I split Imperial Division once and after a couple of days it was automatically recombined (due to opponent attacking I guess) since then this guy was in charge of this formation. Might be some flavour of the learder bug I guess...

Actually the air number might represent his ability to utilize air support, (to direct the planes to a local target.)At least, that's what I have used such people for, but he is NOT good for directing infantry.

Make him in charge of a base force?
