Hi All,

I've had the game since mid June 2005 and am sadly just getting started on it. I have version 1.31 and am trying to patch it current. Version 1.6 and the Beta recognize my serial number but v1.4 and v1.5 won't. Has anyone had this happen? Are there any remedies for this?

Also, I tried installing the Map mod and the Icon mod (both of which look great). Both appeared to "take" but even after following all the instructions the locations were off. Is this because of the version I am using right now?

I guess you mean Cobra's mod?...it is a variant of Andrew's map and has moved some bases around from the stock map. The scenarios have to be converted to that map. The converted scenarios are available on andrew's site...click here.

I thought I got and installed the converted map from your site or Andrew's already. Would not being able to patch higher than v1.31 cause problems even with the converted mod? I saw WiTP 1.6 next to the mod so I'm guessing so.

I still can't figure out why versions 1.4 & 1.5 won't recognize my serial number. I even used the Serial Number Retriever which showed I've been entering it correctly. I emailed support yesterday buy so far nothing.

Are you typing the number or copying and pasting?

If you are typing, make sure the dashes are there.

If C&P, sometimes it adds a space after the number and it won't take it.

I've tried it every way I can think of but still no luck. I guess I'm locked into v1.31 until support gets time to respond to me. Thanks a lot for your help anyway.

Is there a patch that has all the patches wrapped into one? Is it absolutely neccessary to have v1.4 & 1.5 installed for v1.6 and the beta to work?

I have been away from playing for a while ... I have WITP v1 ... want to update ... I used to have the registration patch ... but it's gone missing ... I tried the v110d patch and that didn't work and neither has any other patch ... apart from downloading v2 (which is huge on a 56k)... can someone please upload the original
