On the final day of the war, a squadron of Ki-61 Tony's massacred a large joint US/British air army. Despite the presence of hundred of Liberators, dozens of enemy planes were shot out of the sky. Only one friendly plane was lost, due to an accident. China In a bold move, Kweiyang in China was captured on the 26th September. Further advances towards ChungKing were being undertaken before Armistice day.
