wheeljack12 -> questions for eric and david (2/15/2006 9:38:13 PM)

1. Will there be a file area for people to upload files for leagues, playbooks, etc. on either the max football page for winter valley software or the matrix games page? Or will there be posted links to fan sites that will doing the same? Because this game has a lot of user support backing it now where one of the two should be considered.

2. Will there be press releases going out to the gaming sites upon release of the game? Because in the past during development I was seeing this being seen on most common gaming sites when something was announced or interviewed for this game.

as for 2.

We have a dedicated press area where the press can get all the latest news download stuff etc. Also we have a press maillist and send news releases to the official press sites like "Games Press" for example. Actually "MF gone gold" is featured in todays Games Press newsletter and on their website.

Joe Liebermann is our PR guy and responsible for press connections.

Probably the best way to handle that is to set up a fansite. We would certainly be happy to link to fan sites that are supporting M-F. We can also post popular playbooks, league files, mods, art, etc. on our Members' Club.

In regards to post 1. I am talking to Matrix about this. Unforunately the Wintervalley sites aren't setup for this.

A concern of mine is that we'd need someway to ensure licensed logos are not put on the servers.

That would be tough to do.
