I don't have any Bolos in Southeast Asia, and if the strike consisted of just B-25s and a PBY recon flight, then where'd this guy come from??!

and talking about weird stuff... I said this before but I could swear that the guy smoking his pipe in the combat summary is Bruce Willis...[:'(]

I have had the Japanese bomb one of my airfields on which there were no P-40s (either B or E) and yet the results showed them being destroyed. Go figure. Never did figure out which unit(s) were losing those planes.[&:]

Just a guess, but don't fragment of units that had damaged aircraft when transffered away get left behind, even thought hey do not show up until repaired?

Maybe the game allows those to be hit/damaged/destroyed, and then reports them as combat losses?

This has been commented on before. I don't think there was any certain reason identified when it was previously discssed but was put down to possible op losses which had occured at another base being included in this combat report. Have alook at the intel report, are any Bolo's reported as op losses?

Mantill, thanks, I had not thought of looking at the ops losses. I'll check it out and post if I find anything there. Thanks again!

Night bombing seems to 'encourage' weird happenings. In my PBEM some Martins based at Makassar were assigned to bomb the oilfields at Balikpapan and some Il-4s based in Kunming were assigned to bomb the heavy industry in Hanoi. The combat animation showed a mixed bag of Il-4s and Martins bombing Balikpapan that turn.

Things like that happen even when you don't have anything at all flying at night.

Noticed something a little similar to that a couple turns back -- the map jumped to Yenen to show the combat animation for Zeros and Kates attacking Lunga.
