I noticed the same thing, but even though the file looks like an autoplay file for a executable CD, I really think the file is more like a "run.bat" batch file. All it does is start the WAW menu.
I suppose you could burn all the unzipped files onto a CD, then you could run it from a CD, but you would have to change all the registry pointers, and autoexec.bat, config.sys and everything else that is telling the system that the files are on the hard drive. You would need to edit it so the system now knows they are all on a CD. It would be a BIG pain, I think.
