Darwin HQ Change Trouble (Full Version)

I can't seem to convert Darwin from "Australia Command" to "SW Pacific" HQ, despite the fact that I have plenty on PPs to cover the change. The choice to change it simply won't highlight.
Anybody know why this like that?

Do you currently have any SWPAC units in Darwin? If you don't, it won't highlight. If you do, then I don't know.

I'm not sure you want to do it though - if you do, you won't be able to transfer any Australia command air units into Darwin.

Yes..and it still won't change over HQs. Anyone else have any ideas on why I can't transfer HQs?

Only HQs of land combat units in the base will show up in the available list of HQs.
If you do have a SWPAC LCU in Darwin, and all HQs are dimmed out, then you may not have enough PPs.

In my game, I need 900 PPs to change Darwin's HQ.
If you don't have the PPs, it should show on top line of HQ screen "Cannot choose new Headquarters for Darwin - Too few Political Points".

Yes that was it. I switched HQs on an Infantry Unit and then was successfully able to switch the base to SW Pacific.
