The sig pic has to be posted on the internet somewhere...
Then put the address to the pic between the [image] and [/image] in your signature text box.

Brady -> RE: signature picture (3/5/2006 5:26:14 AM)

I use "My Photo Drive" to host my pictures.

Send it to me in a PM and I'll throw it on my webspace if that's all you need hosting for.

Demo, or you can have Matrix host it for free by...

Make a post, with "imbed picture".
View your post, and get the properties of the pic.
Update your signature with that link.

Feinder -> RE: signature picture (3/5/2006 8:01:22 PM)

This is the image in my pic says for me. And yes, put in an image set, but it looks like the URL is slightly different.

Mine = "http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/upfiles/7554/Lj230165082.jpg"

Notice that the directory is different.

Where's the post with the pic you're trying reference? Remember. First, you have to make a post, with the picture embedded (not in your sig). Just like you'd post a pic of a bomber or whatever. Then get the URL of the pic in the post, and add that to your sig.

Is the url you posted bracketed by [image] [/image] in the sig box?

I've been trying to figure out how to upload a signature picture for the past couple of hours.

It's infuriating.
