That's right, since we currently have no way to "add" a physical shipment to an already placed download order. However, if you wait until the physical boxed copies are ready, you can order a download+physical shipment for the same price (US $49.99) as the physical shipment alone. Please note that this is still one "copy" of the game, in that it comes with one serial number, but allows for two delivery methods - immediate download as well as a boxed copy shipped to your address.
Also, to be clear - if you do what you are thinking about it would be US $39.99 for the Download now and then US $49.99 for the boxed copy when that shows up in the store.
