Skycast -> New formations (3/8/2006 9:35:47 PM)

How do I create new formations to use when creating new plays?

Finally figured this out last night!! When your in PDS click open, the box that comes up allows you to pick offense or defense, both that choice you have to check "play" or "formation". If you click formation you will get a list of offense/defense formatins below. Pick one edit it and save it with a new formation name. I just finnished creating 6 new defensive sets.

There another way. Between the "new" button and the "open" button is a small button with a "down" symbol on it. If you click on it and select "formation" it will allow you to make a new formation from scratch. I found it by accident.

Now, can someone tell me what the buttons "align tops" and "align lefts" do?

Still have not figured out those align buttons.

Now can someone tell me how to get the players to actually use the edited formation? I designed several defense lineups, then some defenses based on them, when I go into pratice the defesive line does not lineup correctly. As you look at the defense from behind the offense, they always seem to shade to the left its like they are alining as if the ball was the LG or the gap between the LG and C.

I think I figured it out. When you have your Formation created, go back to the same button that cbelva indicated earlier and instead of selecting "Formations" select "Plays" and it will open up another window and ask what Formation do you want to use to create your new play. Your Custom Formation should be listed with the Stock formations aswell. [:)]
