playball335 -> Punt Return for TD's!! (3/21/2006 6:00:21 PM)

I was playing as Dallas last night vs. Miam in a quick game and the first 3 of 5 punt returns I returned for touchdowns. All I had to do was build up speed heading towards the sideline and then just shoot down the sideline for paydirt.

Has anyone else tried this?

IMO this is caused by play design. The punt teams does not defend the team they running all in the middle and then to the returner. It looks like the entire team as bunch try to tackele him. But so they have a bad angle. Using an agile returner you should have a good chance of a punt return td. I have to admit that i have not create a better play but i think the players of the defend team should run fixed routes so they cover the entire field and after finishing all routes (defending their lanes) then running to the returner. So it should works in reality, too.

I haven't messed with any Custom Punt or Punt Return Plays, can these be designed in the PDS? If so, I thnk I agree with Tullius that this can be fixed with better designed Punt Plays.

I still wanna set them back to defaults. I'll find out when I help my friend with his game. He's new to computers so I'll take screenie of it or something [:D]

Hey TBird, I'm just curious too know if you tried out that Utility I made called "DataConstant Utility"? Was wondering if your using that or just editing the values by Access or something.
