oliver -> AI treaty evaluations (3/24/2006 1:04:57 PM)

Some odd attitudes I came accross: The AI controlled nations estimate the peaceful life of tiny little countries too high. For example, as Prussia I could gain colonies and lots of money from Sweden and other nations in exchange for just promising to respect the neutrality of some Northern African states for a year. There should be some factor to take into account the distance of the "respected" country from the borders of the nations involved in the treaty. As well, Austria was willing to trade Prague and Theresienstadt against some useless provinces I as Prussia owned in Eastern Poland. Thus, Austria looses glory points each round without any real advantage. I think, besides the capital province, there should be some "core provinces" which will not be traded nor exchanged, unless in surrender clauses. Of course, I can restrain myself to propose only "realistic" treaties, but the temptation is always very high ... Oliver
