kokubokan25 -> USA BBs special pack (4/2/2006 2:12:53 PM)

I'm not very satisfy with my work on some battleships. Is for this cause that some days ago decide re-work (again) the battleships begin with the USA pre-war classes. With many information on the web, camos from the warship camouflage page, and my personal library the task become very soon in a number of ship sides so high that forced me to "packed" those profiles in a zip. This "babe" finally reach the 1.7 MB.
My personal space on server is very limitated and if put this zip very fast shot down my capacity to continue working on the rest of stock game.
I have decided send the zip to Rogue to anyone can download the zip (if like my work of course).[:D]
The following jpeg show all the ships contained on the zip:
A final observation, those bmp are aimed for "modders", none had slot number and many are.....some curious ships..

Enjoy.

FREMEN.

Excellent, and nice you indicated which "measure" (or style) of paint job is being used on each.
Some may not know that the USN called their different versions of paint-jobs "measures", and were standardized thruout the war, with maybe 5 or 6 being used as time went on, thruout the fleet.

Turns out I was wrong. You CAN see Fuji from Tokyo Bay... Didn't think you could, given the distance, but then the thing IS over 3700 meters high!

Hey as long as you're doing pre-war-BB crane ships, what about the Kearsarge (BB5) a.k.a. CRANE SHIP NO. 1 as of Nov 41 !? Not sure where she was berthed, not Pearl Harbor, probably East Coast, but she made it over to the West Coast during the war.

kokubokan25 -> RE: USA BBs special pack (4/3/2006 7:47:39 PM)

As i said before, the bmps of my pack had not slot numbers because their "special" characteristics.
Some ships like BB Wyoming have the slot number 0172 for their class. You can use this number in the bmps named "BB Wyoming42 or BB Arkansas44" because this class have not upgrade path in stock game. However the bmp named "BB Wyoming45" shows the battleship with a configuration that is not reflected on stock game and only can used for modders that included this "upgrade" on their mods.

Anyway, here is the correspondance with my named bmp included on zip:

BB Utah41*.bmp---> not stock game, no slot number FOR MODDERS
BB Wyoming*.bmp->slot number 0172
BB Wyoming45*.bmp->not stock game nor upgrade path. FOR MODDERS
BB Arkansas44*.bmp->not upgrade path, may be used in slot 0172

BB New York42*.bmp->not stock game, no slot number FOR MODDERS
BB Texas43*.bmp->not stock game, no slot number FOR MODDERS
BB New York45*.bmp->not stock game, no slot number FOR MODDERS

BB Nevada20*.bmp->slot number 0177
BB Nevada44*.bmp->had a upgrade but no slot number in stock game, may be used in slot 0177
BB Oklahoma41*.bmp->slot number 0177 [IF YOU WISH SEE THE Oklahoma cannot SEE THE Nevada] The stock game had only a slot.

BB Pennsylvania43*.bmp->slot number 0178
BB Arizona41*.bmp->slot number 0178 [only a slot, like above]

BB New Mexico36*.bmp->slot number 0179
BB Idaho*.bmp->slot number 0179 [only a slot, like above]
BB New Mexico44*.bmp->slot number 0179

BB Tennessee*.bmp->slot number 0180
BB California*.bmp->slot number 0180

BB Colorado*.bmp->slot number 0181
BB West Virginia*.bmp->slot number 0205 however i think the stock game use also the bitmap 0181.

Thank you, thank you![&o][:D][&o][:D]. Ahhh! So many ships but so few slots[:@][:D]. I will choose wisely tonight. Thank you once again for your hard work. Now to hunt for some Japanese ships for surface action![sm=00000036.gif][sm=00000054.gif][sm=00000106.gif][sm=00000436.gif][sm=00001746.gif]
