puresimmer -> 2006 New Look Player Card (4/22/2006 10:13:35 PM)

I am completing the tweaks to the new player card and figured I'd post a screen shot of how it looks in PS 2006.

Feedback is appreciated.

Very aqua-esqe. Very nice.
Does the team logo still show up in the upper right, or has that been moved?

I like the sliders. It gives a nice visual. I like the font as well. It is easy on the eyes.

Love the new look Shaun. Are the arrows for any increase/decrease? Or is it only for a certain size change?

Looks like there's room for a team logo either below the stats, to the right of the personal info, or in the lower left. Are those reserved for anything or would it be possible to add that in?

Shaun,
I really like the look of the new Baseball Card. What I have so far viewed of PS 2006 looks "Great" Keep up the outstanding work, this simulation just keeps getting better and better.

Is there any merit in putting the bio information above the sliders? The sliders are really cool, and between the coolness and the fact that they're on top, my eyes are drawn to them even when looking at the bio, which makes it a little more difficult to read. Anyone else?

It will take some getting used to. IMO, it would look a little better if the rating numbers were inside the box, directly above the category of the rating.

On a selfish note, I suggested a "salary history" feature a few months ago. Did this end up on the cutting room floor, or is it available through the new almanac feature? Either way, I am pleased with the changes and waiting anxiously for PS 2006.

is it missing any mention to the players current eam or am i missing that?

Right beneath his name at the top of the screen.

I love the new display...and the arrows by potential could be a good indicator of the future value of the player. This is great stuff.

The more I look at it, the more I agree with this. for proportional reasons if nothing else. The bio is smaller than the other two sections, so it seems like it would look better at the top or bottom.

Shaun,

Did you try to switch them around to see how it looks?
