Hi,

I tried installing Leo's H2H mod, but all I managed to do is screw up my SPWAW. I installed it on top of SPWAW 8.4, and now I can't get in the game at all.

When I start the game, I get as far as the SSI intro, but then the screen goes black and a pop up appears saying something to the effect of "Vid998.smk not found. Program aborting."

Anybody else had this problem? On which version should I install my H2H to get it working?

Hmm, on PanzerLeo's site it says that the file should be 64 MB. Mine's only 41 megs. I downloaded it again, and it was still 41 megs...

I installed SPWAW 8.2 and put H2H on top of that, but it doesn't seem to be working either. The problem is exactly the same.

Anybody got a clue on how I might get this mod working?

H2H was designed for the 7.1 version. For 8.0, the opening video sequence was changed from a .smk file to an .avi file.

The H2H mech.exe is looking for this file in the "stream" folder inside the "SND" folder. Copy it into this folder and rename it to "Vid998.smk". Should work then.

Thank you Flashfyre, I appreciate your help. I knew there was something wrong, but there was no chance I could've seen that. :)
