bassman58 -> NFL Uniform sites ? (5/10/2006 9:46:09 PM)

Since this site has closed, http://www.athlegraphic.com/FFP/, does any body have other sources for NFL uniforms? According to the forums at http://www.sportslogos.net/ the site was hacked and it's future is up in the air. Without this site my uniform making (and probably many others) will grind to a halt.

Here are some sites:
http://www.packersuniforms.com/
http://www.sportsattic2.com/nflphotos/NFLphotos.html
http://www.geocities.com/lukoss/nfluniforms.html
http://www.sportslogos.net/

Ouch that was the site I used for my 1959 and 60s NFL uniforms. Wasnt planning on doing anymore NFL teams but the site will be missed.[:(]

Im not sure how many NFL teams have photo galeries on their sites, I used the photo galeries on University Athletic websites for all the college team uniforms that I did. Sometimes you cant get all the details but they have so many pictures from many angles so most things are visable.

I know there's a few uniforms in the research project section of www.ssur.org. Aside from that, I dont know of any good uniform sites anymore. I'd guess searching for football card images could be useful, or if anyone has a card collection sitting around.

ED#29 -> The athlegraphic site is up, sort of (5/12/2006 9:14:07 PM)

I thought I would be of assistant here to those make uniforms and used the athletgraphic site. I know somebody who saved the website on his hard drive and then posted it. You can retreive it here. http://www.weirdwolf.net/FFP/index.htm

The uniform history only takes you back from 1959 through 2003. It's not a complete history, but at least there's something. [:)]

Thank You, Ed#29. I'm sure all of the uniform makers will greatly appreciate the information.
