jacmar -> heres a dumb question? (5/19/2006 1:50:29 AM)

I downloaded the game last night but now that I have the serial number, I cant locate it on my computer. Can anyone give me a hand in finding the name of the file? Sorry for being so ignorant...

sovereignstar -> RE: heres a dumb question? (5/19/2006 2:12:25 AM)

C:\Matrix Games\PureSim Baseball 2007\puresim2k7.exe

Thanks Sovereignstar...I tried putting it in a search field but it came up no matches. I know I have it because I doubleclicked the little icon last night and got as far as the serial number. Then I had to stop because I didnt have it. Now I cant locate that icon.

One thing that you might try:

Go to a website where there is something to download. My computer always defaults to the download place where I last downloaded something. See if your puresim file is there.

Thanks Donkuchi....I'll give it a try...

Oh, I'm an idiot. I thought you needed to know your PureSim directory.

jacmar -> RE: heres a dumb question? (5/19/2006 2:41:39 AM)

No...I'm the idiot...I cant find the icon to load the game so I can enter the serial number...And I still cant...

If you need to do a search again the file is: PureSim2007-SetupRelease-v100DR.zip

Edit: You're looking for the install file, correct.. because you cancelled the install yesterday due to not having a serial?

jacmar -> RE: heres a dumb question? (5/19/2006 2:48:16 AM)

Yes....I never completed it, because I didnt have a serial number. So I am looking for an install file.

jacmar -> RE: heres a dumb question? (5/19/2006 2:52:35 AM)

I tried that one too and there were no matches. Is it possible that it isnt on my computer anymore?

dewelar2 -> RE: heres a dumb question? (5/19/2006 2:54:32 AM)

Very possible, if you chose the file to open automatically and not "Save to disk". You might need to re-download the file, which it looks like you can do from the page where you can view the order.

sovereignstar -> RE: heres a dumb question? (5/19/2006 2:55:47 AM)

If you deleted it, yes. :)

You might want to re-download it instead of wasting your time locating it. You can re-download the file through this site. http://www.findmyorder.com

jacmar -> RE: heres a dumb question? (5/19/2006 3:08:56 AM)

Downloading now...and yes, i dont think i had it...the person told me to click open instead of save when i did it last night...i said i thought it should be save, and he said no...so i probably didnt have it all this time...keep you posted...

I just called customer service again, and what they didn't tell me the first time was that I had to put hyphens between each set of four digits. Installation is now occurring[sm=00000436.gif]!

jacmar -> RE: heres a dumb question? (5/19/2006 3:56:09 AM)

download worked...i did get a message about a win32 file that wouldnt work because it was in use...so i had to continue without it...but it did finish...

Ah, great news, glad to hear you are all set. Yep, all characters are important.
