I don't really know what happened. All I can tell you is this is what I did:
1. Signed a FA pitcher when I already had 35 players on the roster (35 is the limit)
So I had to make a move to get rid of a player to get down to 35 again.
2. Picked a minor league pitcher, opened his player card, hit release, and then the crash to desktop.
Another weird bug is with a full 25 roster in the majors, I activated a pitcher who was on the DL. However, I couldn't put him in the rotation. It kept telling me "Please put pitcher into an empty slot in rotation". So I demoted the current 5th starter, and tried to put the newly healthy in that slot and got the same message. I just simmed the current day, and the problem was fixed.
