Just started playing a little as the Cards replaying the 05' season. While this team never set any land-speed records with players like - Sanders, Eckstein, Walker, Grudzelainek, Rolen, Pujols even Edmonds they were not terribly slow either.
Yet, all these guys have ratings in the 32-38 range. Heck Albert himself stole what 16-18 bases last year?
Before I start editing this a little I was curious if lowering the speed ratings a little was done to better represent accurate stolen bases. What I mean is..it appeared a little last year that with PS 2005 you could steal almost "at-will" and the CPU too.
This may also explain why some people are posting that players are not scoring from 2nd on singles, or moving from first to third on singles to right. Just curious as to what you guys think?
