mbMike, I would be careful when using the word cheap, on people you know little about. [:-] As fars as selling a product, even people who have the money to purchase a FB Game twice or more, maybe turned off by ton of unexpected bugs or just not fullfilling what is put out there-whether by makers or by standards. You ask any company that is a worse case situation, because cost twice or more to get that customer again and customers communicate bad things about products fast. Which demos can counter react and make easier and heck of a lot cheaper to change the affect. Why remember bad things more vividly and longer.
