Distiller -> FAA squadrons (6/1/2006 10:51:13 AM)

Have a problem with the squadrons on the British carriers. They shrink. From 18 down to 9 or 6 and I have no way to boost them to their original strength again. Pilots stay on or above the original level. Known problem?

Sounds like the resize bug, which is known and supposedly being worked on.

What version are you playing?

whats the game date?

The CV's aren't damaged over 50 at all are they?

I know Michael mentioned before that anything over 50 damage and the airgroups will not grow until under 50 damage again.

Can you be more specific please. What scenario, what carrier, what is the capacity of the CV, how many airgroups, what types of aircraft??

Distiller -> RE: FAA squadrons (6/1/2006 10:02:18 PM)

Scenario is a modified version of #15.
Carriers are Idomitable, Illustrious, Formidable, their capacity and units are unmodified, all are in top condition.
Date is early June 1942.
All airgroups are suffering by that bug, both Swordfish and Fulmar.

Well, then it's hopefully not the resize bug. I've never seen it affect that many carriers at once.

Nikademus -> RE: FAA squadrons (6/1/2006 11:45:43 PM)

have you moved around the squadrons aboard the carriers or is their original configuration intact?
