magic8796 -> Help with serial number (6/5/2006 2:07:05 AM) I bought the game via download when it first came out and can no longer find my serial number. I upgraded to 1.3 and am now coming back to the game. I'd like to upgrade to the latest version. Is there any help I can get? Thanks.

Obviously the game should have one but shouldn't the patches work without serial numbers? Wouldn't it be a little easier on players trying to upgrade? If someone stole a serial number and played the game, obviously they could also use the stolen serial on the patches just as well. Therefore what is the deterrent in requiring one for patches? [&:]
