Hi, this message is addressed to the game's developer. I downloaded the Puresim demo to try out the game. My first impression of Puresim is good, however, I noticed that when I manager a game, there are no options for the manager to pickoff a runner, or do a suicide squeeze with a runner on third. I am seriously considering buying this game, but the lack of these options are preventing me from buying it.

Oh, also I noticed that were lacking were wild pitches and passed balls.  Will be these added in a later patch?

There are definately Wild pitches - I lost a game last night on a "walk off" Wild Pitch in the bottom of the 9th...of a 0-0 game

They are pretty rare - the usual cases being REALLY high velocity guys with mediocre Control - IT was Nolan Ryan who did it to me - 20 stuff, 20 Velocity, 13 control. And he spoiled a complete game shutout bid doing it agaist Burt Blyleven who won the duel of 2 hit shutouts [8|]

As far as passed balls, I'm pretty sure I've seen "error on catcher" result in runners advance, which I assume would be a passed ball, but can't say I've seen any called "passed balls" by name.

On the pickoff - Shaun recently added a "pitch out" that increases the chances of a runner getting thrown out on steal attempt, but also the chances of walking the batter. It would be nice perhaps to differentiate "pitch out" (with the effect on the count) with a "pick-off" attempt (with its chance for a bad throw and advancement that way, and a slight endurance hit on the pitch count perhaps for the extra throws)

Suicide/saftey squeeze plays are an additionthat has been discussed. I'll let Shaun comment on his future plans [;)]

OH yea - in my Summer of '69 league Ryan leads teh league in them, and Walks...and Strikeouts! [:@]

Look at the WP column on the player card for who has them.

I checked teh Catchers and on the "season stats" section there is a "PB" column, but not on the career stats?

Yes, PureSim still lacks a bit -- but I promise you it is coming. Shaun has "real job" that is very time consuming, but he continues to find the time to improve PS.
