Can anyone speak to whether there are any more options for formation orders for the PO in TOAW3 than there were in ACOW (in the scenario editor)? The previous options were pretty limited, and it was difficult to understand exactly what each did.

No there aren't. It just didn't sound like a good marketing plan to say "TOAW III, now with even more formation orders that people can't understand!"[:D]

Just joking...if you have questions on particular orders, then go ahead and ask.

Formation orders seem to me to be reasonably well documented in the manual. It helped me understand the difference between yellow and orange "fixed" units for instance. For non-PO related formation orders there is a fairly simple mapping between the formation order and the subsequent in-game state of the units in that formation.
