ORIGINAL: forgorin Ok I found them. Why do they only get them in 1940? Not even the Japanese are stupid enought to train and equip paratroopers and not have any planes for them! If you have a problem with when a given country can buy any units, you can always change the date(s) of availability for the unit(s) in question. Just open the folder where your SP:WaW 8.4 resides, then open the SP:WaW editor. From the pull down menu at the top left corner of the editor open the oob for the country you want to change and then select the unit you want to change. From the screen you get you can alter the dates that the units in that country's oob are available from and to. (Btw, you can also alter many other factors about units, such as what weapons they have, how survivable they are, and basically most of the factors for each unit.) (If you are playing PBEM or live against an opponent, you should let them know that you wish to make changes to the oob of your side, and get their o.k. before switching anything in the oobs. For this reason it is good to back up the original oob of any country you plan to change before changing it, so that you can revert back to the original, if your opponent is adamant about using original oobs. If you only play the AI then backing up the original oobs is not necessary, but you might want to back them up anyway, just as a precaution.) Hope this helps. Eric Maietta
