Good Luck Mo[:)]

Halsey -> RE: It's Official on Monday!! (6/10/2006 5:29:19 AM)

Ft Lee Virginia is where Quartermaster "spoon" training is.
Man is it hot and miserable there in summer.[:D]

You'll love the Petersburg Battlefield, it's only a few hundred yards from the barracks.
I ran the battlefield "every" afternoon after training.
Virginia Beach on the weekends. Very "HOT" babes all over the place.
Oysters and Long Necked Buds while you sit at the beach wishing you were 21 again.[:D]

Get in shape, or you'll do remedial PT every afternoon till they get that gut of yours back where it belongs.[:D]

I did my Rigger Training back there in "91".[;)]

Since you're going to be in the Quartermaster's now, remember this.
The Quartermaster's are so far down from the tip of the spear, you'll get the shaft more.[;)]

Hi, Gut? I weigh 170 pounds.  I can run 3 miles in under 30 minutes. (no speed record but hey..I'm 50)
Left Va Beach 3 years ago. Seen the "Crater" before but will enjoy seeing it again.

(I don't eat seafood. The 3 food groups are Chicken, Cow and pig)

scott64 -> RE: It's Official on Monday!! (6/10/2006 5:33:58 AM)

Halsey -> RE: It's Official on Monday!! (6/10/2006 5:38:55 AM)

I ran the "Crater" every day.
Had to make myself presentable for all those southern peaches.

Everything is named Crater in Petersburg.[:D]

Man was it hot there.
Save your beer drinking for the weekends.[:D]

Good luck Mogami. The armed forces need decent cooks, a very real moral booster is good food (ask any submariner).

Mike Solli -> RE: It's Official on Monday!! (6/12/2006 8:26:19 PM)

Well, it's official. The Ohio Army National Guard now has a brand spanking new (figuratively, of course) SSG Mogami.

I didn't get any pics. (Smacks self)

I'll get some when he starts drilling and gets his uniforms. I'll also get some from Origins. (Smacks self again)

rtrapasso -> RE: It's Official on Monday!! (6/12/2006 8:38:36 PM)

CONGRATULATIONS MOGAMI!!

Ron Saueracker -> RE: It's Official on Monday!! (6/12/2006 9:19:02 PM)

So, is binge beer drinking a new form of interogation at Guantanamo? Mogami will be a special agent for the interogation of suspected terrorists!

Congrats Russ!

mogami -> RE: It's Official on Monday!! (6/12/2006 10:58:14 PM)

Hi, Thanks. I'm in the Army now[X(] Major Solli got a bonus swear in.  It was a very smooth ceremony.
We plan on holding the party at a Columbus VFW during Origins.

Hi, I had a good monday. Swore in and then attended my daughter Ashley's graduation party.  (Being a really fancy dude and big spender I then took her and her boyfriend to the VFW and played darts and chess and fed them a Bear burger)

All seriousness aside, Russ, congratulations, and I'm sure you'll find a way to enjoy and learn from these next six years.

And remember, everyone, he's not really going anywhere...

ravinhood -> RE: It's Official on Monday!! (6/14/2006 8:59:11 AM)

Ahhhh man military life and FOOD! I still remember coming in after an all nighter on the town, putting on my fatigue greens and going down for "MIDNIGHT CHOW" haha (I wasn't the only one) haha. Fresh made omelettes anyway you wanted them. Orange juice (fresh squeezed lol haha) BACON/LINK SAUSAGES ALL YOU COULD EAT!! Mano Mano if nothing else people should join the service for the FOOD! ;) Man after an all nighter it sure hit the spot and helped keep yah from getting sick. Gawd how many days did I go into work with only 2 or 3 hours sleep....I really should have not dated so many STRIPPERS haha. But, the benefits were ohhhhhh sooooo nice. ;)

Hi, Ha light wieght. All nighters don't end before midnight they end 15 minutes before morning formation. (Thank goodness for electric shavers)
You don't get a midnight snack and 3 hours sleep after an "ALL NIGHTER"
